Week 3 Vocabulary: DPI, PPI, metadata

DPI: This stands for "dots per inch" and refers to the number of dots of ink used per inch to create an image on a physical page. 

PPI: This stand for "pixels per inch" and is a measurement for the number of pixels it takes to create a digital image.

Metadata: In photography, metadata is data that describes image files, containing information on who made it, when, and with what.
